Comparison

BloomBoard vs Details Flowers

Details Flowers is an established all-in-one for wedding and event florists—it describes its span as “from inquiry to proposal, from stem count to final invoice”, ships with a large pre-loaded product library, and has a real education arm around it in Details University and an active community. BloomBoard is the wedding and event specialist too, with a different emphasis: pricing published on this page, and depth in the part of the job that starts once the proposal is signed — recipes into supplier orders, then timelines, run sheets and delivery plans for event week. Both serve the same kind of florist, so this is not a good-versus-bad comparison. The differences are in emphasis, and either can be the right answer.

The short version

  • Same reader: both are built for wedding and event florists, and both do proposals, recipes and stem counts, payments and signatures.
  • Details Flowers pricing: not shown on their website — the plans page asks you to download a pricing PDF. Capterra’s listing reports tiers from $25/month (Starter, 3 events) up to $150/month (Business), plus annual Professional and Enterprise tiers. Capterra’s figures, not Details’ own — confirm with Details.
  • Where Details is stronger: a large pre-loaded product library included in every subscription, and a structured education and community ecosystem around the software.
  • Where BloomBoard is stronger: event-week production (timelines, run sheets, checklists, delivery plans, freelancer share links), finance texture (live margins, automatic VAT, supplier prices in any currency), public pricing, a 14-day trial with no card and no sales step, and migration help with every plan.
  • Neither, if: you run a retail flower shop on daily orders. That work needs a point-of-sale system — our guide to florist software points you at the right category.

The question everyone asks first

How much does Details Flowers cost?

Details Flowers does not display prices on its own site. Its plans page describes the features and then asks you to download a pricing PDF — “Download our pricing PDF to explore features, options, and pricing”. So the honest answer to the question is: the vendor doesn’t publish it, and the number you end up paying is the one they quote you.

Third-party directories do list figures. Capterra’s pricing listing for Details Flowers Software, accessed 28 August 2026, reports these tiers:

Details Flowers Software tiers as listed by Capterra, accessed 28 August 2026.
Tier (per Capterra)PriceListed limit
Starter$25/month3 events
Portfolio$50/month5 events
Portfolio+$100/month10 events
Business$150/monthEvent limit not listed
Professional$1,500/yearBilled annually
Enterprise$2,250/yearBilled annually

Two caveats we’d want if we were reading this about ourselves. Those numbers are Capterra’s listing, not Details’ own page, so attribute them accordingly. And software pricing moves — if you’re budgeting, ask Details directly for the current PDF and check what an event limit means for the number of weddings you actually take.

None of that is a criticism of the product. Plenty of good software is sold this way, and a conversation with their team may well get you a better answer than a price table would. It is simply the reason a page about Details Flowers pricing has to send you to a third party, and why we publish ours instead.

Choosing between them

When each one is the better buy.

When Details is the better pick

  • You want a stocked catalogue from day one. Details includes “thousands of pre-loaded products” in all subscriptions, so you start from a stocked library instead of building one out of your own supplier price lists.
  • You want an education and community ecosystem around your software. Details University classes, masterclass audio on Spotify and an active Facebook community are a genuine part of what you’re buying — and we don’t run anything like it.
  • You’d rather buy from an established player with a big community. Details is a known name in floral software with an active community around it, and if getting pricing through a conversation is normal for how you buy, that’s no obstacle at all.

When BloomBoard fits better

  • The hard part of your year is event week. Timelines, run sheets, checklists and delivery plans, with freelancers joining through share links so the person conditioning at your bench and the person in the van read the same plan.
  • You want one path from enquiry to event day. A client brief link the couple fills in themselves, a proposal from it, recipes under the proposal, stem counts rolling up into supplier order sheets, then production and the invoice — nothing re-typed between stages.
  • You want the price before the phone call. Public pricing, two plans, annual billing at two months free.
  • You want to try it before you talk to anyone. 14 days, every feature switched on, no credit card, cancel any time.
  • The numbers need to hold up. Live margins while you design, automatic VAT with sequential invoice numbering, and supplier prices in any currency so auction euros and local wholesale sit in one recipe.
  • Moving is the thing stopping you. Migration help is included with every plan — send us what you have and we move it with you.

Questions we get asked

Asked and answered.

How much does Details Flowers cost?

Details Flowers does not publish prices on its own website. Its plans page asks you to download a pricing PDF instead.

Capterra’s listing for Details Flowers Software, checked on 28 August 2026, reports Starter at $25/month for 3 events, Portfolio at $50/month for 5, Portfolio+ at $100/month for 10, Business at $150/month, and annual Professional ($1,500/year) and Enterprise ($2,250/year) tiers. Those are Capterra’s figures, not Details’ own page, and software prices change — confirm the current price with Details before you budget.

Is BloomBoard a Details Flowers alternative?

Yes, for the same florist: BloomBoard is proposal and production software for wedding and event florists, covering proposals, recipes and stem counts, supplier orders, event-week production and finances.

The emphasis differs. Details includes thousands of pre-loaded products in every subscription and an education and community programme around the software. BloomBoard publishes its pricing, has a 14-day trial with no credit card, and includes week-of production tools — timelines, run sheets, checklists, delivery plans and freelancer share links. If the pre-loaded catalogue and the education ecosystem are what you are buying, Details is the better fit.

Can I move my library and my events over?

Yes. Bulk import your supplier price lists, and keep multiple supplier prices with full history against every flower, foliage and hard good.

For everything else — clients, events, proposals, recipes — migration help is included with every plan: send us spreadsheets, PDFs or an export from your current tool and we move it into BloomBoard with you. See how switching works.

What happens after the proposal is signed?

That is where BloomBoard puts its weight. Recipes roll their stem counts up into supplier order sheets and market shopping lists, margins update live while you design, and event week gets timelines, run sheets, checklists and delivery plans that freelancers open through share links.

Details describes its span as “from inquiry to proposal, from stem count to final invoice”; what it offers for the week of the event is not published on its site, so ask them.

Can I try either one before paying?

BloomBoard has a 14-day free trial with every feature switched on and no credit card.

Details Flowers does not publish trial terms on its plans page, so ask their team when you request the pricing PDF.
